About Me

Photography has been a part of my life since an interest was generated in my late childhood by a Leicaphile uncle who had a wet darkroom. It has since remained and grown as an interest and passion.

Photography has continued as an outlet for my creative pursuits most of my life. Traveling to see other places and experience other peoples and cultures is important to me, and photography is both a tool as well as an excuse to travel.

The most notable sources of artistic influence related to my pursuit of photography have come from attending workshops. The individuals that have had the greatest impact are Freeman Patterson, a Canadian photographer, for his passion for creativity; Dan Burkholder for platinum printing and iPhoneography and Vincent Versace for his passion for travel, artistic eye, street photography and Nikon cameras.
